Venting Filters
Vent filters made of hydrophobic membranes are commonly used in air or gas applications and for venting of bioreactors, fermentation tanks, and carboys. The important considerations when selecting a gas or vent filter are air flow rate and particulate or microorganism retention. The build-in membranes must provide sufficient surface area to accommodate the air flow required by the system.
