Overview

Depth filtration or Clarification is used to reduce impurities and particles such as cells, cell debris and large aggregates in the cell culture harvest which will be used for downstream purification processes. Cobetter Roheap CSD series depth filter is composed of high purity cellulose and inorganic filter aid through its special process. The three-dimensional inner structure provides excellent clarification efficiency.  

Cobetter offers a completed portfolio of clarification products, including Claricap capsule filters, Roheap depth filters and sheets, Roheap activated carbon depth filters, Excesal polypropylene filters, and Greclary glass fiber filers.

About CSD Depth Filtration Media

With advanced and highly automatic production lines, Cobetter CSD filter sheet features uniform surface and high wet strength. It’s validated with extremely low levels of extractables, metal leachables and endotoxins. Cobetter Roheap CSD depth filter sheet is suitable for separation and clarification of blood products. 

Cobetter Roheap CSD Series depth filter is suitable for biopharmaceutical and other high purity applications. The filter designs solve many of the problems found in typical disk-style filters such as leakage, heavy use, and high costs. 

About Activated Carbon Depth Filter

Activated carbon depth filters are made of high-purity cross-weaved cellulose and activated carbon powder. The activated carbon powder treated with phosphoric acid or water vapor carries ultra-high specific surface area and is very effective in decolorization and the removal of other contaminants. It is suitable for decolorization of API, endotoxin removal, and decolorization of wine and juice.

About Polypropylene Filter Media

Polypropylene filter media are hydrophobic, have excellent chemical resistance with pH values from 1-14. They're also compatible with acids and bases. Cobetter polypropylene media has gradient pore structure which significantly enhance the dirt-holding capacity. Cobetter also provides polypropylene nanofiber membranes with extremely high retention efficiency without fiber shedding. The polypropylene filters are suitable for clarification.
