PUPSIT stands for Pre-Use Post-Sterilization Integrity Testing. EU GMP Annex 1 contains a requirements for Pre-Use Post Sterilization Integrity Test (PUPSIT) of sterilizing-grade filters. PUPSIT is a test that is used to ensure the integrity of a sterilizing filter and its associated components, such as the filter housing, support structure, and connections, after the filter has been installed and sterilized but before it is used to filter product.
