Cobetter offer 24-well, 96-well filter plates for researchers to accelerate their workflow of sample preparation for analysis. Our 96 multi-well plates can be used on automated handling robotic platforms.

Cobetter Oro prep™ filter plates are used for high throughput screening, analysis, and sample preparation for laboratory analysis. The filter plates are available in two specifications: 24 well and 96 well. The filter plate is made of polypropylene with wide chemical resistance, and a variety of filter membrane materials. The filter plates are compatible with high throughput sample processing.

Features

  • 24-well filter plate, meeting the filtration requirements up to 7mL of sample
  • 96-well filter plate, providing 350 μ L well volume for rapid sample loading
  • The filter plate can be used for vacuum filtration, positive pressure filtration, and centrifugation
  • Automation compatible, filter plates to be run in manual, semi-automated, and automated processes
  • High throughput and rapid sample processing, low hold-up volume
  • A variety of membranes accommodates a range of applications

Applications

  • Used for life science and analytical applications and workflows
  • PES filter plate is used for aqueous filtration and particle removal, meeting the rapid processing needs of various samples
  • PTFE filter plate is used for rapid filtration of organic solvents

What is the sterilization method for Cobetter multi-well filter plates? And what is the shelf life?

Cobetter multi-well filter plates are available in both non-sterile and sterile.
Sterilization method is by 25-45 kGy gamma irradiation.
The shelf life of nonsterile plate is 3 years, and that of sterile plate is 2 years.

How to ensure the multi-well filter plate has no leakage? And can integrity testing be performed?

Cobetter multi-well filter plates undergo pressure-hold testing using dedicated equipment before shipment.

When tested at pressures below the bubble point, no premature bubble formation is observed, confirming no leakage and ensuring the product meets release criteria for shipment.

What is the maximum loading volume for Cobette multi-well filter plate?

Cobetter provides both 24-well and 96-well filter plates. The recommended loading volume for the 24-well filter plate is 7 mL, and for the 96-well filter plate it is 300 µL.

How to use the multi-well filter plate?

Cobetter multi-well filter plate is compatible with both centrifugal filtration and vacuum filtration.

Recommended operating conditions: for the 24-well plate, use a vacuum level of 10 inHg or a centrifugal force of 1000 G; for the 96-well plate, use a vacuum level of 10 inHg or a centrifugal force of 1000 G.

If the material is difficult to filter, the vacuum level or centrifugal force can be appropriately increased.

Can Cobetter multi-well plates be compatible with automation equipment?

Cobetter Multi-well plates follow the ANSI/SBS standards, which ensures globally uniform specifications for seamless compatibility and efficient integration with automated equipment and laboratory instruments.

What are the advantages of Cobetter multi-well filter plate?

Cobetter multi-well filter plates feature low extractables, low adsorption, and high throughput. In addition, we can offer fully customized services based on material requirements and different process needs.

What materials are available for Cobetter multi-well filter plates?

Cobetter multi-well filter plates are available in a wide range of materials, including PES, PVDF, Nylon, PTFE, PP, glass fiber, and depth filter media.

Customized configurations are also available, such as depth filter media combined with PES membranes or glass fiber combined with PES membranes, to meet specific application requirements.

Can Cobetter multi-well filter plate be reused?

Cobetter multi-well filter plates are disposable consumables, and are not recommended for reuse.
