Cobetter Lifemeta™ ST6R is a high-performance thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) pump tubing, specifically developed for fluid transfer in biopharmaceuticals. ST6R features excellent pump life, wide chemical compatibility and high dimensional stability with low extractables and leachables (E&L). It is compatible with a wide range of bioprocessing media, buffers, and common cleaning/ sanitization systems, providing a safe and reliable solution for fluid transfer in critical processes.

  • Excellent Pump Life:

ST6R utilizes a high-fatigue-resistant formulation, making its pump life far exceed that of ordinary silicone and TPE tubings, which significantly reducing the risk of production interruption.

  • Broad Chemical Compatibility:

ST6R exhibits good resistance to acids, bases and various polar solvents (such as DMSO, DMA), and is also compatible with a wide range of complex media.

  • Rigorous Cleanliness Control:

Manufactured in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom, with strict control over insoluble particles and bacterial endotoxins, meeting strict biosafety requirements.

  • Good Performance after Sterilization:

Can be sterilized by autoclave or gamma irradiation and maintains excellent physical properties and mechanical stability post-sterilization.

What are the applications of single-use tubing?

Typical applications:

What are the differences between TPE tubing and silicone tubing?

1. Lifemeta™ STF TPE tubing is compatible with common-used aseptic tube welders and tube sealers, making it convenient and economical in repeatedly aseptic connections and disconnections applications, such as repeatedly feeding or sampling during the cell culture process.

2. STF tubing has lower gas permeability than silicone tubing, making it more suitable for easily oxidized liquid transmission.

How about the the chemical compatibility of Cobetter single-use tubings?

Cobetter STT, STF, ST5P and ST8H tubings have extensive chemical compatibility and can withstand a wide range of acids, alkalis, salts and organic solvents. For certain solvent resistance, please refer to the chemical compatibility section in the validation guidelines.

What is the sterilization method for Cobetter single-use tubing? And what is the shelf life?

1. Both silicone tubing and TPE tubing can be sterilized by 25-45 kGy gamma irradiation or by autoclaving at 121℃ for 30 minutes.

2. The shelf life of sterile single-use tubing is 2 years, and that of non-sterile tubing is 5 years.
