Cobetter Lifecube™ PB single-use powder bag is designed to handle dry powder culture medium, buffer solution, active raw materials and excipients in biopharmaceutical process. The powder bag is funnel-shaped, and easy to transport. These single-use bioprocess powder bag with capacities from 3 L to 50 L.

The Lifecube™ PB single-use powder bag is a 2D shipping bag composed of Cobetter Topene T300 film, an ULDPE (ultra low density polyethylene) material exhibits low extractability, low precipitation, good chemical compatibility and biological safety.

3D single-use bioprocess bags are available in 20L, 50L, 100L, 200L, 500L, 1000L, 1500L, 2000L.

Generally, the maximum storage volume for the storage bioprocess bag is 110% of the nominal volume.

What are the applicable conditions for the use of single-use storage bioprocess bags?

Cobetter single-use storage bioprocess bags are used for Liquid collection, storage, transport, and liquid sampling during the production process, such as media storage, buffer storage, collection of filtered liquids, buffer filling, and so on.

The recommended temperature range is -80°C to 60°C, pH range is 2.5-11.

Cobetter operates one ISO Class 5 manufacturing line dedicated to the production of filling system–related products. What tests are typically performed on Cobetter single-use bags prior to release?

A Certificate of Quality is provided with each shipment, listing routine test items and applicable reference standards. These tests include bag integrity, endotoxin levels, sterility, and insoluble particulate matter, among others.

How are Cobetter single-use storage bioprocess bags packaged and sterilized? How can sterilization completion be verified? What’s the shelf life of the sterilized bags?

The single-use storage bags are vacuum-folded and sealed in double-layer PE packaging, then placed into cartons for gamma irradiation sterilization. The irradiation dose typically ranges from 25 to 45 kGy.

Sterilization completion is verified by the irradiation indicator label on the outer carton: an orange color indicates non-sterilized status, while a change to dark red after irradiation confirms successful sterilization.

The shelf life of sterile single-use bioprocess bags is 2 years.

How to choose the material of the tubing on the single-use storage bioprocess bag?

Available in both silicone tubing and TPE tubing.

Silicone tubing: Used for fluid transfer, peristaltic pump applications, and filling processes.
Disadvantage: Not resistant to strong alkalis.

Thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubing: Used in combination with tube sealing and welding machines for aseptic disconnection or connection.
Disadvantage: Not resistant to high temperatures and can be easily worn out when used with peristaltic pumps.

How should single-use storage bioprocess bags be transported?

Generally, single-use bioprocess bags with a capacity of 20L or less can be hung or carried by hand for transportation. However, for bags larger than 20L, it is recommended to place them on pallets or flatbed carts for transferring.
