What are the specifications of Cobetter single-use sampling bags? What are the applicable conditions?

Cobetter single-use sampling bags are available in 5mL, 50mL, 100mL, 250mL, 500mL, used for collection and storage of small volume samples.

The recommended temperature range is -80°C to 60°C, pH range is 2.5-11.

What tests are typically performed on Cobetter single-use bags prior to release?

A Certificate of Quality is provided with each shipment, listing routine test items and applicable reference standards. These tests include bag integrity, endotoxin levels, sterility, and insoluble particulate matter, among others.

Do Cobetter single-use sampling bags undergo integrity testing before leaving the factory?

Yes, except for the 50ml sampling bags, all our bags undergo integrity testing. We do not perform integrity testing on the 50ml sampling bags because the integrity test is conducted using a pressure hold test method, and even a small amount of gas escaping can cause a significant decrease in pressure, making it difficult to accurately measure. Unlike other brands that perform sampling inspections, Cobetter tests the integrity of every bag.

What is the role of the adhesive layer in the film material?

The fluid-contact inner layer of the bag is made of ULDPE (ultra-low-density polyethylene), a non-polar material. The gas-barrier layer is composed of EVOH (ethylene–vinyl alcohol copolymer), which is a polar material. According to the principle of ‘like dissolves like,’ these two materials cannot be directly bonded.

An adhesive layer is therefore used as a transition layer. This layer is made of PE (polyethylene) blended and modified with partially vinyl functional groups, enabling effective bonding between the two materials.
