Cobetter Claricap CSD & Roheap CSD series depth filters utilize fltration media that are made of high-purity cross-weaved lignocellulose and activated carbon powder. The internal porous three-dimensional structure with large internal surface area delivers excellent filtration performance and high dirt holding capacity for depth filtration applications.

The filter sheets are manufactured with our highly automated proprietary process. All raw materials are controlled through our world-class quality system to ensure robust product quality and consistent filtration performance.

Features

  • Excellent retention ability

The cellulose media of the Claricap CSD & Roheap CSD series filter are intertwined to form a compact three-dimensional porous structure, with gradient pore size that can efficiently trap particles during the filtration process.

The activated carbon powder treated with phosphoric acid or water vapor carries ultra-high specific surface area and is very effective in decolorization and the removal of other contaminants.

The filter medium sheets also include a small amount of special synthetic resin, which improves the wet strength of the medium sheet and makes the filter sheet positively charged to increase adsorption efficiency.

  • Excellent Operational Performance

The cardboard is made of high-purity bleached cellulose, which greatly reduces the extractable metal ions and endotoxins content, making the Claricap CSD & Roheap CSD series filter more suitable for use in biopharmaceutical and other high-purity applications. Thanks to its internal cellulose three-dimensional structure and high activated carbon content, the filter has ultra-high dirt holding capacity and decolorization ability.
